Website delivery & security

This website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare’s network (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). To deliver requests and protect the service, Cloudflare processes technical connection data, including IP address, requested URL, time of access, browser information and security events. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure artist website. Technical data is retained as necessary for delivery, security and the applicable service configuration; it is not used by us for advertising profiles.

Contact by email

If you contact us, we process your email address, message and any other details you provide to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for responding to correspondence. Email is handled by wint.global GmbH, In der Steele 35, 40599 Düsseldorf, Germany. Correspondence may also be forwarded to and processed in the artist’s GMX mailbox (1&1 Mail & Media GmbH, Germany) to answer enquiries. Messages are deleted when no longer needed for their purpose, unless legal retention obligations apply. Such obligations are based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Videos & external links

Photos, video posters and short muted previews are delivered from this website. Complete recordings can also be played directly from our Cloudflare R2 video storage. They are requested only after you select a recording; Cloudflare processes the technical connection data necessary to deliver the video, as described above. This direct player does not load YouTube or use analytics cookies. No connection to YouTube is made for these previews. A full YouTube video is loaded only after you select “Load YouTube” in its dialog. This uses youtube-nocookie.com, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Loading a video transmits your IP address and browser data to Google; Google may process usage data and store information on your device. The basis for this optional integration is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where device storage or access is involved, Section 25(1) TDDDG. Closing the video ends the embedded connection; consent is requested again before another video is loaded. External links connect to their providers only when opened. Their privacy policies then apply.

Technical usage statistics

We use Cloudflare’s technical service metrics, such as request counts and errors, to monitor availability and reliability. These figures may include automated requests and do not represent a count of individual visitors. No additional browser analytics script, analytics cookies or visitor identifiers are used on this website. The legal basis for processing the underlying technical connection data is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, as described above.

International processing

Cloudflare and Google operate international infrastructure. Data may be processed outside the EU/EEA, including in the USA. Where applicable, transfers rely on adequacy decisions for certified recipients, in particular the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and additional safeguards. Information about these safeguards is available from the providers and from us using the contact details above.

Your rights

Subject to the relevant conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection under Articles 15–21 GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future; processing before withdrawal remains lawful. In particular, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, including the authority where you live or the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Providing information is voluntary, but without contact details we may be unable to answer an enquiry. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
